Sylvia Chu
Ms. Chu concentrates her practice in the areas of complex civil litigation and arbitration, insurance coverage and bad faith, health care, professional liability, and managed care law.
She attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1994. She subsequently received her law degree from the Boston College Law School in 1997. While in law school, Ms. Chu served as a staff writer and subsequently a Notes Editor for the U.C.C. Reporter-Digest.
Ms. Chu is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She is also admitted to practice in New York. Ms. Chu is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
For the last three years, Ms. Chu was named one of Massachusetts' Rising Stars in the area of insurance coverage in Massachusetts Super Lawyers - Rising Stars Edition (published in the May 2005, 2006, and 2007 editions of Boston Magazine).
