Michael J. McCormack

Mr. McCormack heads the firm's Litigation Practice Group, and concentrates his practice in the areas of product liability, premises liability, construction litigation, and other complex litigation. He also represents and assists developers in the permitting process before city and state agencies.

He attended the University of Massachusetts at Boston and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1969, and later graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 1972. Since that time, Mr. McCormack has had a distinguished public service career, having served as an Assistant Attorney General and then a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts over the course of three decades. Mr. McCormack was also elected to the Boston City Council in 1981 and served five terms as an At-Large Member. Mr. McCormack is a member of the Dean's Advisory Committee for Suffolk University Law School. He has served as a member of the Executive Council of the Governor's Judicial Nominating Committee and a member of the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority. Mr. McCormack is a former instructor of Civil Litigation at Bentley College.

Mr. McCormack is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
