Kathleen M. Colbert

Ms. Colbert concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance coverage and insurance bad faith litigation. She has represented insurers under a wide variety of insurance policies such as professional liability, commercial general liability, directors and officers liability and fidelity and bond policies.

She attended the Westfield State College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Criminal Justice in 1985. She subsequently received her law degree from the New England School of Law in 1992. While in law school, Ms. Colbert was a was a member of the New England Law Review from 1990-91 and was elected its business managing editor for 1991-92. She received American Jurisprudence Book Awards in Constitutional Law, UCC-Secured Transactions and UCC-Sales.

Ms. Colbert is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. She has also co-authored a chapter on property insurance policies which appears in the MCLE publication entitled "Massachusetts Liability Insurance Manual."
