Brooks von Biberstein

Ms. von Biberstein is of counsel to the firm. She concentrates her practice generally in the areas of insurance coverage and insurance litigation, with a specialty in first-party property insurance, including coverage, arson, fraud, bad faith and inland marine. She has litigated cases in West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, and Massachusetts.

She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1986. She then received her law degree from the University of North Carolina Law School at Chapel Hill in 1989.

Ms. von Biberstein is admitted to practice in Georgia as well as the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia. In addition, Ms. von Biberstein is admitted to practice in North Carolina and the Middle and Eastern Districts of North Carolina. She is admitted to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. von Biberstein is a former Regional Editor of Fire and Casualty Annotations and has presented at insurance industry seminars, including Defending the Fraudulent Claim.
